Dead Meadow
We thoroughly enjoyed our gigs with Dead Meadow, who turned out to be the nicest guys in rock. In your face Dave Grohl!

The Ting Tings
We have been asked to support The Ting Tings for their gig at Sheffield Academy on Friday 26th and we said yes. If you have tickets, we’ll see you there.

Beepfest
Our all day mini-fest, is only a month away. We have a load of brilliant bands playing in two rooms at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on the 18th October. From 3pm to late, and it’s only a tenner! Unfortunately Stephen Fretwell can’t play, as first advertised. I think he is washing his hair - Jim Noir and Magic Arm both wear hats fortunately.

Just to let you all know the Dead Meadow support gig in Manchester has moved. I’d like to say it’s the Manchester Enormodome due to massive demand, but in fact it’s Night & Day cafe.

Same bands though

We Beepsters are supporting the excellent Dead Meadow at The Roadhouse this Sunday (14th), and at Club 229 in London on the 20th of September. We urge you to come, they are a face melting spine shattering awesome band.

We’re pleased to announce our very own residency at Dulcimer in Chorlton. We’ll be in residence once a month for the next four months and we’ll be joined by a gaggle of friends including Stephen Fretwell, Magic Arm, The Soundcarriers and Goldheart Assembly…keep an eye out for dates and details. We’re also super pleased to be supporting Dead Meadow for a couple of UK dates in Manchester (14th Sept) and London (20th Sept)…Thanks to everyone who came to see us at Latitude and to a lesser extent Secret Garden Party. The Latitude crowd really was one of the best we’ve ever had. Check out Huw Stephen’s BBC Introducing Podcast on iTunes, they recorded I Used To Work At The Zoo from Latitude and it’s on there… Last but not least we’re doing a small tour of the North East and Scotland, Norman Blake will be joining us for the Scottish shows and it will rule.
